¡Saludos! Greetings!
Abuelita Villarreal's Comida Mexicana has changed hands and changed its name. Regina Villarreal and Kim Richardson are pleased to announce the passing of the wooden spoon from one family to another. While the ownership is changing, the quality and service is not. The business will remain family owned and will continue to be run with personal pride and attention under the name of Two Sisters Fina Cocina.
While the change in ownership is significant, we hope it will be seamless and almost transparent for you. We value your loyalty and your business and we look forward to working with you as we continue to serve you with the Viva Verde and Ranchero Red sauces. As sisters, we (Kim and Constance Richardson) were raised in Mexico City, a result of our father's work in the development of food crops.
We have continued our interest in food and, in our travels to Mexico as adults. Constance has focused her studies on the cuisines of Oaxaca and Michoacán while Kim continues to expand her expertise in the cuisines of Puebla and Veracruz. We feel these complement the Villarreal family's knowledge and love of the foods of the border regions of Nuevo Leon, Coahuila and South Texas. Both of us love to cook and are happiest with friends and family gathered at the table. Presentation of the food turns to fun, as we round up heirloom pieces to mix with pottery made by friends.
Kim has a large collection of tablecloths found at flea markets, antique shops and in her mother's closets and it is always a creative process deciding what to use and what mood to create, from informal to formal to various themes. Games and activities that can be enjoyed by all generations, keep people at the table interacting without regard to age. Preserving traditions and nourishing families in an easy, quick and stylish way, is what our products and this webpage are all about. Fine Mexican cooking can be easy with Two Sisters Fina Cocina Viva Verde and Ranchero Red sauces.
We hope you enjoy our ideas for entertaining and join us in gathering friends and family around the table for food, talk and fun while establishing your own traditions.
Sincerely,
Regina Villarreal, Kim M. Richardson, Constance A. Richardson
